Michele Sacco, executive director for the health care staffing services certification program at the Joint Commission, will cover the requirements to become certified, teach you tips on how to best prepare your company to begin the certification process, and walk you through the steps you will need to follow to apply for certification.

She will also discuss the resources that the Joint Commission has available for staffing firms. Sacco will leave ample time at the end of the Webinar for your questions.

Sacco oversees all certification activities related to health care staffing services, including the development of standards and review processes. She has more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry, specifically in health care staffing, home health, assisted living, long-term care, and case management. She was a consultant in the medical legal field and also served as chief executive officer and president of VNA Health Services. Sacco has lectured extensively for industry groups including the South Carolina Hospital Association, Staffing Industry Analysts, Emergency Nurse Association, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and many others.
