One role she won't play is the starving actress. Janeece is a born performer—ever since she used to run around the house singing "You Can Ring My Bell."

These days, she runs between rehearsals, auditions, beauty pageants, writing songs, and working with inner-city youth.

Several lucrative temporary assignments helped her fund her own recording studio where she cuts demos to conquer New York City. Janeece puts it this way: "Being a temporary worker is ideal. It gives me flexibility, and I can support myself financially while I actively pursue my first love."

Now you can say you "knew her when."
